magicJack Plus voice quality
At the HomeGear lab, we made and received several calls to verify the voice quality over magicJack Plus on local and long distance calls. We did not notice any problems with the quality and clarity of voice. The voice was clear on both ends, and unlike other VoIP services, it did not suffer any echoes or delays. The magicJack Plus voice quality was as good as our landline voice quality, and it did not deteriorate when we used a cordless phone to make and receive local calls.
The magicJack Plus is one of the cheapest VoIP services available. The magicJack Plus costs $70 for the first year, which includes a phone number and unlimited local and long distance, plus international calls to US numbers. Each additional year of service costs $30.
magicJack Plus could be the cheapest solution if you need to keep in touch regularly with a relative or a friend living in a different country. You can buy and send magicJack Plus to them and they can make unlimited calls to your US number for a flat yearly rate.
magicJack Plus offers landline voice quality but costs significantly less than a traditional landline connection. HomeGear gives the magicJack Plus our highest rating, 4 Lights On.
