Intellinet Network camera is remotely accessible through a laptop, iPhone, or other network ready devices.
The video quality is set by default to VGA 640x480 at 30 fps, which is the highest setting. Although there were other available settings, I did not explore it thoroughly because the video quality was already clear. I was more interested in the motion detection settings, where I can set the camera to monitor regions with more motion possibility and adjust the cameras zoom. I configured my email address in the E-mail/FTP menu so that the camera can automatically send captured images upon motion detection. When I came back from a break, I got emails with JPEG pictures of me because I came within the cameras focus.
Another important feature of the camera that I explored was the automatic video recording. The option can be enabled through the Schedule menu. Before turning in for the night, I scheduled the camera to upload pictures every two minutes to my FTP server. I configured my FTP server for this since I did not want to end up with an inbox overflowing with emails. The next morning, I checked my FTP server and found images uploaded there. In the System and Account menus, I set up a password to limit access to the camera. I also created up to five different accounts for remote access of the camera. When I installed the bundled software, I was able to view up to 16 cameras on a single window.
